Former home of the Third Battalion, Thirty-sixth Infantry Regiment (mechanized) Attached to the First Brigade, Third Armord Division, V Corps. Re-deployed to Kuwait for Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

  • Actually, the photos are from 2001. The Kaserne itself was returned to Germany in 1998 and almost totally leveled in 2007. The photos from the satellite are at least 3 to 4 years old.
  • Now, I understand that they have 'leveled' the Chapel as well... Progress....
  • Google Maps 2009 - 2016 shows the chapel still standing. The only building.
