Arcachon is a beautiful sea resort protected from the ocean by the shape of its bay with beautiful victorian architecture. It is known for the quality of its air (combination of pine tree forest and sea wind)and very fine food. All sort of water activity are available such as rowing, kayaking, kite, windsurf etc. Bordeaux is just 55km away, which makes day trips to the famous vineyards possible. Most important, if you love oysters, this is the place to go!
