  • My name is Bansi Bangar and I belong to Village Akalpur. I moved to Phillaur in 1973 and migrated to America in 1982 and have been living in California ever since. I am glad to read notes from some of the folks of my village and am happy to know that someone there is caring about the people of my village and the village itself. During my visit to India particulary my village Akalpur last year, I was so ashamed to see the life of some of the villagers who are still living in slum area.
