That building does not figure in the archival set of photos of buildings in Warsaw, taken in 1939. According to relations, the works started in 1939 and were continued under German occupation. The Germans used that building, because it was very solid, so it avoided complete destruction. After the war building was renovated and in the 60-ties it has attached two another buildings, on the west Wolska 111 and on the east Wolska 105/107. The architecture reveals it's origin - typical style of buildings from times of Stefan Starzynski, the last president of Warsaw before the WWII
