Absolutely outstanding little place. Fantastic, comfortable, cosy, snug, traditional, unique environment. A broad range of things on the menu - everything from scallops, wood pigeon and venison, through to duck, chicken, lamb shank and monkfish. And veggie options to boot. You can kinda guess that the wood pigeon and hare have not come straight from Sainsbury's. In my experience, everything on the menu is cooked superbly - and I have had cause to eat there several times in the last few weeks (alongside previous experience).

The Olive Branch now have a standardised menu alongside a range of specials. All of it is exceedingly well cooked, and absolutely fantastic fare at an extremely good price. Very friendly and open staff to boot.

Starters about £10ish, mains £15-20ish.
