The museum contains dated material between the Neolithic and the Byzantine period, from numerous sites, most of the town of Carbonia territory: the rock shelter of Su Carroppu (Sirri), the necropolis of Monte Crobu and Cannas di Sotto, the ravines of Coderra the prehistoric village of Barbusi, A.Ca.I. the cave, the nuraghe Sirai, the Baccu Arrus cave.
