  • This piece of prooerty once belonged to the BHATTACHARYA's.This is riches to rag story.
  • This 100% owned/designed Enamel company was established by one of the kind Bengali notable person Late Brojo Kumar Bhattacharya with the sheer knowledge and hard work of one ofhis illustrious son Late Debendranath Bhattacharya, who was also a scientist student of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy (of Bengal Chemical fame) and professors of Rajabazar Scicence College, Calcutta University. Late Debendranath Bhattacharya went to Japan during World War-II after completing M.Sc. from Calcutta University. After returning from Japan during 1940's he established two companies 1) Bengal Enamel and 2) Bhattacharya Rubber Works. All the starting funding was made by his father Late Brojo Kumar Bhattacharya. These two factories touched the peak of success during second world war. For ease in running administration Late Debendranath Bhattacharya handed over the rein of Bengal Enamel to his immediate elder brother Late Dwijendranath Bhattacharya, who later on handed over the same to his son-in-law Late Umapati Ganguli. After the demise of Umapati Ganguli, his son Tara Shankar Ganguli took over who subsequently transferred some shares to Mrs Parbati Ganguli as on date. Bhattacharya Rubber Works was also given to Tara Shankar Ganguli for administration. All the present day prosperity/credit/otherwise for the past 35-40 years must go to them. Bhattacharya Rubber Works suffered with mal-administration in recent past and has now been sold to a third party.
  • exactly this is a rich to rag story... and the third party to which it is sold now is the adityans...who took over the company during the time of late bhaskar aditya and now the director is anirban aditya etc ... debendranath bhattacharya was an exceptional people with a plethora of talent in him but the thing which went wrong was he never had any children and hence after his demise all other who were in touch with him at his time simply looted the company and the business went into extreme loss and then exactly the same happened as said by anonymous .. the story of bhattacharya rubber works is something really pathetic...
