This square is called medan Agrab (Scorbion square), because in the 40ties there was a foot ball team having the scorbion as a logo in their chest .It was surrounded by trees all around , but most of them have been removed . Now they play all Khartoum North second division league matches in it.There are many food shops and shoes-repair shops round it . Now they have surrounded it with a fence , an people pay to see the foot ball matches .
