This building has about 80 studio flats. Only of its kind in the town and the preferred accomodation for many young officers of TATA Steel.

There is an excellent mess. The campus also has a cute badminton court, beside the lawn.

Atmosphere here gives you a chance to make friends, some are even known to have become "friends for life"!!

  • I lived here for few Years. Probably the best time in my Life. Best Freinds, Best Food, and Most money in the town. Girls - Just ask for it!!
  • The Kadma Flatlets have 86 studio apartments in all, in four stories: i could never figure out the numbers :) Each unit is 250 odd sqft, with an attached balcony which looks over the I.C.Road (provides all the early morning honkings required to wake you up), an attached toilet and a kitchenette. In the first three stories, the kitchenette seems to have been an after though...from its arrangement it is obvious that the 'dress' area was converted into one (so now you can go to the toilet only through the kitchenette). The top storey units are better as the toilet opens into the room and not into the kitchenette. However, during summer the top storey is as good as an oven, and during the monsoons it often leaks. The mess building is shabby but food is reasonably palatable. apparently this was the original building on the plot with a few guest rooms which were converted into the dining hall and the kitchen. The mess lacks a toilet. The campus hosts plenty of trees: Simul, Mango, Jamun, Guava, Banana, Jackfruit, and a few Bottle Palms.
