Pandurang Shastri Athwale started his vision of "Swadhyay Parivar" from this place. Historically important place in Hinduism. Oldest temple of Bhandarnath Mahadeva. Believeres of Mahadeva gathers here on the ocassion of "Mahashivaratri" evrey year and every Monday. In King Gayakwad period, he built two suspension bridges(refered locally as "Zulta Pool") on the way of this spot. One of the bridge is not in good condition nowadays.
