  • Wrexham is officially classed as a city, even though it is small

  • Wrexham is one of those strange towns that has many of the characteristics of a city but has not yet been granted city status. It is however one of the largest towns in britain and wrexham county borough is home to Rhosllannerchrugog whic is brittain's largest village. Wrexham has got it's own university and cathedral, it is also just big enough to be classed as a city but even with ongoing debates between the people of wrexham, wrexham county borough council and the british parliament wrexham has not been granted city status.
