The Sheraton Birmingham Hotel located adjacent to the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama. It features 778 rooms and suites.

The hotel was built in 1975 as the Birmingham Hyatt House, later the Hyatt Birmingham, a 16-story 380-room tower with a rooftop restaurant named Billy Bowlegs, and a Presidential Suite. The tower was designed by Tiller, Neal, Butner, Rosa, and Seay. Its palette of materials and orientation was selected to complement the BJCC. It became the Ramada Plaza Civic Center in 1987.

A 17-story 398-room addition was constructed from 1991 to 1992. The addition has an atrium and a skywalk to the main exhibition hall of the convention center, two restaurants, an indoor pool and exercise area, additional meeting/reception space, three new presidential suites, and a new 1,000 space parking deck. The original rooftop restaurant and presidential suite were shuttered and remain unused today. The addition cost $40,000,000. The hotel became a Sheraton when the expansion was finished.

In 1998, the hotel added a 25,000 (2,323 sq m) grand ballroom. In 2005, a $16,000,000 renovation took place which included the addition of new retail space, refurbishment of all guest rooms and public areas, and renovation of hotel systems.
