Since 2001 Mammut has occupied a total covered area of 25000 square meter factory in Hamriya which has the capacity to deliver a total of 7000 tons per month of steel buildings and over 180000 square meters of polyurethane injected sandwich panels.

In April 2007 Emaar Industries and investments (EII) acquired a majority stake in Mammut Building Systems FZC and has since been involved in assisting the company in its expansion and growth plans.
Emaar Industries and investments (EII) is focused on maximizing its subsidiaries long term value, exposing them to industrial best practices, providing a solid and flexible capital base. ( About EII)

The company has unveiled other plans for the year, which include the introduction of a new purlin. Unlike conventional purlins that have a maximum span of about 8 meters, the new ‘revolutionary’ purlins can go up to 12 meters or more. This will give customers more flexible building, fewer frames and foundations, a shorter time to erection on site and savings in terms of both time and space.

MBS follows the latest international design standards and code of practices when designing a building and applies advanced software to ensure accurate manufacturing and by fast erection.

MBS has achieved ISO 9001 accreditation in Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System simultaneously with the scope of “Design, Manufacture and Supply of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings and Polyurethane Sandwich Panel Claddings”.

MBS has delivered over 10,000 buildings throughout the Gulf, Europe, Africa and South East Asian region for prestigious clients. In Dubai, they include the huge Textile City project; a large distribution centre for Agility (formerly PWC); a baggage handling facility at Dubai Airport for DNATA and a project for Nakheel on the World Island. Large projects have also been undertaken in Abu dhabi, such as the Al Ghurair galvanising plant and the Al Jazeera Pipe Factory. Furthermore MBS has delivered projects in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, West Africa, Morocco and Ukraine.

MBS was recently completed two contracts by Dubai Rapid Link (DURL). Under the contract, MBS supplied the steel framing for 2 auxiliary depots for the Dubai Metro project in Al Rashidiya and Jebel Ali. MBS supplied steelwork for the Cargo Terminal being built as part of the first phase of Dubai World Central Airport, through a joint venture between Arabtec and Max Bogl.
