The South Tynedale Railway is a heritage railway in Cumbria and England's highest narrow gauge railway. The running track extends between the Terminii stations of Alston and Kirkhaugh (as of August 2011).
The track is currently being extended a further 2.25 miles north of Kirkhaugh to Slaggyford.
