Formerly Georgia-Pacific paper mill, and various other owners doing business as Fort James Paper.
Site of "biomass" boiler trucked to Old Town from Athens, Maine where it was shut down due to pollution concerns.
Is currently (June 27, 2007) burning 45% fuel derived from construction and demo debris. Landfilling this material in Massachusetts requires recycling first, and burning is banned in New Hampshire, leaving Maine the target of predatory trash disposal.
