Garwolin ([gar'vɔlin]) is a town in eastern Poland, in the southeastern part of Garwolin Plateau, on the Wilga river. It is the capital of Garwolin County in Masovian Voivodeship (since 1999, before: Siedlce Voivodeship). It lies 62 km southeast of Warsaw and 100 km northwest of Lublin. There are about 16,000 inhabitants in the town.
