Loopline bridge (Dublin)

Ireland / Dublin / Dublin
 DART (transport), railway bridge

French: 19th century bridge also known as the Liffey Viaduct. One of the least popular structures in Ireland as it obscures the view of the Custom House from O'Connell bridge. Advertising hoardings were removed in January 2006 by CIE as part of a deal with Dublin City Council.
The Loopline Bridge, which was opened in 1891 is 118 metres long and according to James Larkin was "the foulest thing that ever disgraced the city."
