According to Kazakh open-source reporting this border guard post is undergoing construction and was scheduled for completion at the end of 2025. It is one of 20 new border guard post that are going to be constructed on Kazakhstan's border with Russia. A further 50 more posts will be built and made operational by the end of 2029. Funding has caused construction delays. This border guard post will be part of Kazakhstan's Border Guard Service.
