The Alapan Flag Pole, standing 115 feet (35.05 meters) tall, is located at the Imus Heritage Park in Cavite. This site is recognized as the Dambana ng Pambansang Watawat ng Pilipinas (Shrine of the National Flag of the Philippines). In 1993, the National Historical Institute declared the Imus Heritage Park as a National Historical Landmark through Resolution No. 5, S. 1993. In 2015, through NHCP Board Resolution No. 17, S. 2015, the Alapan Flag Pole, along with the Santa Barbara Plaza in Iloilo, was designated as a 24/7 flag site, where the Philippine flag remains permanently hoisted day and night.
