Whether you are in Vatla or Viljandi, Kallasti or Kuressaare, one thing is for sure – Coop stores and services are nearby. And while other stores have an important owner somewhere on the top floor of a large building, Coop has many owners all over Estonia – and they are all completely ordinary Estonians. The main goal of the cooperative is not to make a profit, but to maintain and develop the service, so the income earned stays in the community, it is used to improve local stores, build new ones and support events important to the community. Another difference is that Coop always gives preference to local small producers and invites them to sell their goods in Coop stores. Cooperation with local producers is important to us, as it helps to maintain jobs in the region and provide our customers with the freshest food. The impact on the environment must also be minimal. Coop is different in that it is local. It brings people together, promotes life and gives back to those close to them.
