Veski railway station is located near the village of Kolodavitsa in Värska Parish, Põlva County. According to
Veski is on the Valga–Petseri railway section, which was completed in 1889 as part of the Riga–Pskov railway. At the time of its opening, the stop belonged to the municipality of Orava. The village was the terminus of the Valga–Veski railway line, which was closed in 2001. Veski railway station was preceded by the Piusa railway station on the Valga side, and was followed by the Petseri station in Russia. Veski railway station had one low platform and a waiting pavilion. In 2011, the Koidula station railway structure was completed next to the mill, making train traffic in the so-called South-East Estonian triangle (Tartu–Valga–Koidula–Tartu) possible. Previously, the Tartu-Petseri and Valga-Petseri railway lines crossed only on Russian territory.
