Risti railway station is a railway station in the village of Risti, Lääne-Nigula rural municipality, Lääne County. Until 2004, the Keila–Haapsalu broad-gauge railway passed through Risti. Coming from the direction of Keila, the Metsa railway station goes to Risti station, followed by the Vaharu railway station. The railway station had two low platforms, two station tracks in addition to the main track, and a station building with auxiliary buildings, which formed a complete station complex. The last regular passenger train on the Tallinn–Haapsalu route passed through Risti on 22 September 1995. It was planned to restore the section of railway between Turba and Risti by 2024, which would be part of the restoration of the Tallinn–Haapsalu railway line. Currently The station building, which was completed in 1905, was built according to a standard design similar to the Palivere and Riisipere stations. The Risti station building differs from the above-mentioned in size, it is significantly longer and therefore more similar to the Võru station building in Estonia, which was built somewhat earlier. However, when Risti station was created, the layout of the building was changed, since, unlike other station buildings, the façade with a central pediment faces the railway. In 1962, the building underwent major repairs. The station building, designed in the style of royal historicism, has now been partially restored. A large number of auxiliary buildings have been preserved from the original station ensemble: a water tower, a baggage shed, a wooden house, a water hydrant, etc.
