Train station on the JR Hokuriku Main Line and the JR Etsumi-Hoku Line (or Kuzuryu Line).

Has a combini, sushi restaurant, and some other shops inside. Relatively new and easy to navigate. The station is open 24 hours, though the shops aren't. If your train is departing early in the morning stop at an ATM the night before, because the ATMs here are locked and inaccessible until 8:30 or 9:00 AM.

The local line (Echizen Railway) train station is just out the rear (East-southeast) exit and to the left. This (local) station is closed late-night to early-morning.
