The museum deals with the past and cultural history of the Nõo parish and rural municipality. The museum provides an overview of the older history of the parish, churches and cemeteries, manors, schools that operated in the Nõo area, and village life throughout the ages. The museum has published three parts of the series “Pages from the History of Nõo”.
The exhibition hall hosts changing art and photo exhibitions.
