Gateway arch to park drive. Circa early C19. yellow brick, probably originally rendered with Coade stone dressings. Combination of Gothic and Classical styles, built in the form of a triumphal arch with large 2-centred carriage arch over drive flanked by pairs of large piers and small pointed-arch foot arches. The arches have brick hoodmoulds and moulded Coade stone imposts. Moulded Coade stone entablature and cornices to the piers. Over the central carriageway arch on top of the parapet a Coade stone unfit trophy and over the foot arches armorial shields and embattled parapets.
