Büllingen (French: Bullange, Walloon: Bolindje) is a German-speaking town in the municipality of the same name in the Belgian province of Liège.
A royal estate in Bulinge only appears in secondary literature before 855. In 854, Emperor Lotharius I documented the "Manderfelt pal(atio) r(egio)" for the Abbey of Prüm. This clearly refers to the present-day Manderfeld district, where a royal estate must have been located. It is possible that Bulinge was already granted to the Marienstift (Marian Foundation) of Aachen in 855, as Emperor Arnulf confirmed his predecessor's donations in Bulinge to the foundation in 888 (MGH DArn 031).
