Founded in 1890 as "Nailsworth & Forest Green FC", Forest Green Rovers now plays at the highest level of non-league football - The Blue Square Premier. Known throughout the non league scene as the ‘Friendly Club on the Hill’, the club has recently completed its new stadium 200 yards up the hill from the old ground -the satellite picture shows the old ground. Under the capable hands of Jim Harvey FGR is now playing stylish football.
