Al-Asif Square situated at Super Highway (linking to Hyderabad). The said residential project is a safe haven for terrorists, drug mafia, land grabbers, target killers and such other criminals. The project mainly occupied by illegal foreign Afghani, Uzbeks and Pakhtoons immigrants. The project is constantly under political turmoil since 1980s esp. since after the immigration of Afghanis in Afghan-Russian war. The Pakistan Rangers have conducted several search operations and arrested key figures of various religious banned outfits and terrorist organisations, including AlQaeda, Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, and Sipah-e-Sahabah. The police has also made several raids on many illegal activities, such as drugs selling, prostitution, arms and ammunition selling, etc.
