It is a skyway over New College Lane in Oxford, England. The bridge was named after the famous Venice Bridge, but modelled on another bridge in Venice - The Rialto Bridge. The bridge links two buildings belonging to Hertford College.

  • Even though it is commonly referred to as the "Bridge of Sighs", this is really the "Hertford Bridge" which links the new and old quadrangles of the Hertford College. In fact, the Wikipedia entry that is linked to here, mentions that this bridge resembles the "Rialto Bridge" in Venice rather than the "Bridge of Sighs".
