The proposed Straight path for the Railway Line between Goghat and Kamarpukur Railway Stations. This originally planned straight path, would run through more than 90 Metres North of the Bhaba Dighi, so that not to affect or disturb the Bhaba Dighi at all.
It is quite evident from the Map that, bending the Rail line towards the Bhaba Dighi was a mis-planning and was completely unnecessary.
The Bhaba Dighi Dispute can be fully resolved by shifting the Railway Line to a Straight minimum length path, running around 90 Meters North of the Bhaba Dighi. Huge population will be benefited once the Railway Line becomes operative.
