  Was closed for swimming for the entire 2006 season due to bacteria levels being too high. Some people blamed the geese, but that's unlikely. Scotia council decided to kill the geese, but the local citizens kept that from happening via a daily goose-watch and chasing them away. They'll be back.

  The geese came back and they also went to the airport, where they were eventually killed due to flying into the aircraft and causing potential harm to pilots.
