Thai-Chinese Temple Siang Kong Shrine (TH ศาลเจ้าเซียงกง ), Khwaeng Talat Noi, Khet Samphanthawong, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok), Thailand

The Chinese Temple Siang Kong Shrine, ศาลเจ้าเซียงกง, was established approximately in 1871 (B.E. 2414) during the reign of King Chulalongkorn (King Rama 5) when a group of Chinese immigrants from Hokkian Territory came to settle in this area in Bangkok. Originally, the settlement was located on a canal and it was developed into an area for trade of used engines. This was the first junk yard business in Thailand, known as Siang Kong. It was later expanded to other parts of Bangkok and the Hokkian Chinese collaborated in building a shrine and named it Siang Kong after the name of the area.
