Former railway bridge built by Lehigh Valley Railroad across Taughannock gorge to carry its one-track passenger mainline from Ithaca to Geneva. The bridge was in regular use with LVRR passenger train service from 1896 through 1959, after which it saw limited freight train usage through 1963 when the line was discontinued and all rails torn up. It is now used as part of the Black Diamond Trail.
