  • It seems to be the garden named Kulhur Baguicha which was well developed by late Jagannath Mahaprabhu of Bero. The name implies that the place was perhaps owned by an oil merchant (Kulhu) at one point. How it came to the mahaprabhu family is not known to me. But it was no doubt well looked after by Jagannath Mahaprabhu. He planted many varieties of mango plants and also other fruit plants in this garden. Regularly he used to visit the place during the afternoons riding in a bullock cart, to come back before evening. A Pandeyji used to look after the security and other administrative affairs. I have heard that the place changed hands later. Do the trees survive still?
