workshop, historical layer / disappeared object
Site of the former passenger car shop for the LVRR, which built and maintained the majority of the passenger cars used by the LVRR until 1961 when passenger services on LVRR ended systemwide. The building was used for freight car maintenance and storage thereafter before being demolished in the late 1970s following the Conrail takeover of LVRRs operations.
