Stade 5 Juillet 1962 (Arabic: ملعب 5 يوليو 1962‎) (the name refers to 5 July 1962, the day Algeria declared independence from France), also known as El Djezair Stadium (Arabic: ملعب 5 يوليو بالجزائر‎), is a multi-use stadium in Algiers, Algeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and it also has an athletics track. The stadium holds 84,000 and was built in 1976. It held the 1978 All-Africa Games and the 2007 All-Africa Games.
