An extinct volcanic hill northeast of Welshpool and west of Shrewsbury. The peak has elevation 367 metres (1,204 ft). Rodney's Pillar, a modern monument, was erected at the summit. The hill features remains of an Iron-Age hillfort and has quarries on the northern and western slopes.
