Sarmera is a Block in the district of Nalanda but the only road to this Block is via Barbigha under Sheikhpura District.There are Police Station, Post Office and a small market at Sarmera which serve the purpose of local people and adjoining villages.It is about six Kms. from Barbigha. N.H-82 (Nawada-Mokama) passes therough this Block.
