  • this temple many years back was raised at a place where Rishipeer was born in a boat in river jehlum when his mother was going frm Sgr. to goshi(a village in kupwara) via Sopore. a very big chinar is giving awnderful look &Soothing shade to this complex comprisig of two temples &a sarai etc.. IT is said that this chinar was planted by rishipeer himself . the SIVA LINGA in smaller temple was about 5ft+ in hieght which has been damaged
