It is the most deluxe hotel of the Alliance hotels. The bedrooms are behind the main reception area in a wide garden under palm trees. The most impressive part of the hotel is its lobby - spacious under high thatch. The 186 rooms are located in a separate two storey thatched rondavels set well back among trees in the hotel's extensive grounds. There is a well built Sportsman Club built far from the beach, behind the accommodation rondavels. It has a pool, three tennis courts, a squash court and a modern machines for body building
