In this place, at the turn of the century and all the way to the Winter war (talvisota) there was a workshop, where Kotisaari (former Forsvik) manufactured copper pans. In the last years they apparently settled exclusively for tinkering pans and kettles. The last tinker was Irja Kotisaari.
