  • This is a limestone quarry which was gainfully exploited to feed the requirement of the konkan railway. Besides it there are places of worship which have been visited by beleivers for many years. Yearly during the month of february there is a religious gathering attended by thousands at these two temples. During monsoons the quarry fills up because of the craters created by mining.The quarry supplies aggregates in various sizes to the building construction and also for road works.
