Bell Labs 7 Meter Antenna (Crawford Hill Observatory)

Not to be confused with Holmdel Horn Antenna which is close by on the old AT&T Bell Labs Crawford Hill Holmdel Facility Grounds.

This Radio Telescope was built in the early 1970's and used for military space projects and by universities over the years. Has been abandoned in place since being last used in 2007.

I love this place, grew up not far from here and managed to come across it in the late 1990's through a friend attending princeton university who knew about through his father who worked for Bell labs in the 1970's and 1980's. Highest Elevation in Monmouth County NJ, (Atlantic Highlands is the highest point along the coastline in monmouth county, but not the highest elevation as many believe or are taught). Ironic.
