Bongsudae Storage was used to store the materials required for starting and maintaining a fire and making smoke, as well as the weapons used by the beacon signal station (Bongsudae) keepers to protect themselves when the station was attacked by the enemy. Unlike the lodge, it had a simple open structure with pillars.
