Al-Hareer City (Future Plan)

Kuwait / al-Asamah / al-Kuwayt /
in Arabic (Madinat Al-Hareer) which means (The Silk City) in English, A future city project which is to be established over a period of 25 years. The famous symbol and land mark of this city would be "Mubarak Al-Kabeer" Tower with hight of 1001 metres, that makes it the tallest building in the world to be built. The secret behind the number 1001 is the famous book of stories "One Thousand and One Night", hoping that this city would be as beautiful as one of "Scheherazade" stories. The city would contain sub-areas (villages), These zones are: Finance City, Leisure (or Entertainment) Village, Olympic Village, Ecological Village, Culture Village and the Heart City.

    I think should be named "Al-Hareer Metropolis" instead of "Al-Hareer City". It is a very large and major city. Hope we live to see it :D

    Question - who is supposed to live here? Is Kuwait's population (citizen's only) expected to double in 30 to 40 years? Will it be for stateless people (people who can't become Kuwaiti citizens & probably never will) living in Kuwait? Foreigners? (non-Arab whites?) Is Kuwait going to open up to mass tourism? What is the point of this project? Can anyone answer?

    its a perfect central location for a basra kuwait capitol, should be called larissa, as the greeks called inland kuwait or, kazima, as it later was named in persian times.
