It is the largest lake in the noord-holland region. There is a small beach on a semi-island, called in dutch "surf-eiland" of surf-island. Many people living nearby have boats, so on sunny days, you might see a lot of boats. Small island on which growsers work, separate the collection the water into a big, and some smaller lakes.

  • this is one of my favorite places in the world , i grew up here and every weekend we would meet up with friends also on a boat and we sleep on the boat friday night and saturday night while during the day we sail and explore the thousands of little canals and paddicks all over the place. I still miss it because i have lived the last 26 years in australia. Greetings aan dirk postma.
