The buildings on this property, now a parking lot, were removed after 1994 but before 2003. All that is left is the old sign, indicating it was here "since 1946!"

Founded by Morris Forman, a Russian immigrant, in 1946 and later taken over by his son, John William Forman, now deceased, who lived nearby at 1201 S. Sherbourne Dr. John would meet his future wife, Shirley Bassett, here where they both worked.
