A grave-stone from the burial mound of a Cuman (Rus. – polovets).
The word 'baba' (the stress is put on the last syllable) is Turkish origin where it means 'father'.
The ancient Russian name (obviously, reconceived) is "a stone maiden".
It was found in southern Russian Steppes, dates to the end of the XI–XII centuries.
