Ouled Sidi Brahim is a small village of 1000 habitants.it is located at the east of Algeria to 200 km of Algiers and 60 km of Bordj Bou arréridj. It is situated on the heights at 600 m at the sea level. The known places close to this village are the "iron Doors" Les Portes de Fer and the Nature Baths Hamam el biban.-See Les Bibans- It was created at the fifteenth century by the Othomans. It is an arid, cold area in the winter season and heat in summer. These inhabitants -kabylians- practize breeding, especially the goats, the bee-keeping, and the olive-trees.There are in this commune several oil mills. In spite of the fact that this commune is poor in resources, from it are originating several Algerian intellectuals in various disciplines.They live in Algiers or in Europe.
