The School of Jazz and Pop Arts was established in 2001 on the basis of the Children's Music School No. 34.
The educational process combines the principles of academic and pop-jazz music.

The school has structural departments:
- music
- art
- choreography
- theater

The music department has an academic branch.
Students study by specialty: piano, violin, accordion, accordion, bandura, guitar, domra, saxophone, flute, percussion, vocals (academic, jazz, pop) and pop-jazz department, where they study piano, synthesizer, guitar (rock, jazz), bass guitar, double bass.
